It’s Old Art Friday again! This was somebody’s character on a forum I went to in 2001. I believe this is the first scanned picture I ever colored digitally, either in Photoshop or some crappy photo editing program - I can’t remember right now.

I remember my 14-year-old self being so proud, lol.

It’s Practice Art Thursday! Or at least it was when I drew this!

I continued with warm-ups and an intro to the mouth and nose tutorials. I may have to move this thing to the weekend to have more time to do this in-depth: shading’s a big aspect of these, and I want to invest time in it. I might even start a test painting!

I’ll break the habit of doing these at 12 AM weeknights!

LET’S PLAY E3 BINGO !!

For the past few years during each E3, my friends and I have been making bingo boards with predictions of each press conference occupying the squares. We figure it’s a good way to liven up the conferences.

It’s also Old Art Friday! Here’s an old “gem” salvaged from my old DA account before I cleaned it up a while back. I remember having a dream featuring this character, drawing him, not being able to fit him into anything, and then forgetting about him. His hair was definitely cooler in the dream.

Millennium started that year, and I think I had briefly considered putting this guy in it in some form. Either that or the comic idea that preceded it.

I’m not a general fan of vampires, but I could do a “redrawing old characters” exercise…for kicks!
